When the world feels wild & confusing, a warm embrace & a safe space to be known can make all the difference in how we venture through changing times.

Much like walking into a completely new experience can bring with it so much nervousness, as we feel the excitement of potential brushing up against our edges of the unknown.

Puberty is a few good years of this constant experience, one even adults struggle to find some ease in navigating.
Can you imagine how children feel as they navigate the terrain of puberty early than their great, great, great grandparents did?

So why not offer them a nurturing, safe space to speak about it, learn about it & grow within it? Amongst other kids venturing along the same path & held by those who can enrich & empower them with care.

BLOSSOM is the warm embrace that is committed to nurturing the thread of understanding & support in the family that wishes to raise a young girl who is excited about coming into her young womanhood.

THE BLOSSOM PROGRAM IS A WARM, NURTURING, SAFE SPACE FOR YOUNG GIRLS (AGED 9-12) TO GATHER & BE EDUCATED, EMPOWERED & CONNECTED TO THEIR TRANSITION FROM YOUNG GIRL INTO BLOSSOMING YOUNG WOMAN. A SPACE OF LEARNING & EXPERIENCING ROOTED IN THE SEASONS OF NATURE AND HOW EVERY GIRL WILL COME TO EMBODY THESE SEASONS WITHIN THEIR COMING MENARCHE YEARS.
IN BLOSSOM SPACES EACH GIRL HAS A CHANCE TO LEARN : HOW THEY CAN TAKE CARE OF THEIR PHYSICAL & EMOTIONAL WELLBEING AS THEY GROW. THE BASIC ANATOMY OF THEIR PELVIS AND THE ORGANS INVOLVED IN HEALTHY FEMALE MATURATION. HOW TO LOVINGLY REMAIN CONNECTED TO THEMSELVES, THEIR FRIENDS, THEIR FAMILY AND THEIR WORLD AS LIFE BEGINS TO BLOSSOM.
IN EVERY BLOSSOM GATHERING, THE GIRLS WILL BE OFFERED TOOLS, UPLIFTING EXPERIENCES AND STORIES THAT WILL OPEN THE DOORS TO CONNECTING TO THEIR EXPANDING EMOTIONAL CAPACITY &HOW TO TEND TO THEIR GROWING FEMALE FORM WITH KINDNESS AND CARE, ALL WHILE BUILDING TRUST WITH SELF, SISTERHOOD AND THE FEMALE COMMUNITY IN THEIR LIFE.

BLOSSOM TENDING is an offering that was envisioned to support the girls who have attended a BLOSSOM program, so they may continue to enrich the weave created through learning the basics of puberty, sisterhood & their coming seasonal years. This workshop is for girls who have previously attended AND is a warm welcome for girls aged 9-12yrs to come together & share the warm, sisterly space of BLOSSOM through learning, exploring & enriching the years of puberty in preparation for menarche & who may wish to join a future BLOSSOM program in Mōhua.

In the BLOSSOM Program the girls learnt that the energy in the body rests in the WOMB through the WINTER phase of a CYCLICAL Woman. So this Winter gathering will be held in the cozy, wintery realm of the Womb & all things Winter/Menstruation, where we will share stories, feelings & learn together in this welcoming group space. And because we are focusing on the Womb, and all the wisdom she has to offer in the Winter phase, we will also be molding a very special clay womb to take home as a symbol & sentiment of the time shared together and to remember the importance of the wisdom of the Winter Womb of Menstruation.
